An underwriter for a private credit firm, Daniel Selby provides credit solutions to small and medium-sized firms(SMBs). His roles since joining the firm in March 2025 include identifying risk factors and determining the financial health of firms to facilitate tailored financial solutions. The process entails analyzing the financial statements and creditworthiness of the clients and reviewing credit applications and supporting documentation. Previously, Daniel Selby was a private equity analyst for a private equity firm on Long Island.
Mr. Selby also has interned in the communication department at a foundation in Washington, D.C., under United States Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz. The foundation focused on advancing clean energy initiatives backed by science-based research and thought leadership.
Besides work, Daniel Selby actively engages in various groups and organizations in and around New York City. He also founded the Pizza Club at New York University while pursuing his bachelor of arts in economics. In addition, he enjoys golf, scuba diving, and skiing in Utah.
